On 21-23 April, Executive Director Ono participated in a PEN-Russia business meeting. All PEN partner institutions sent representatives to Bauman Moscow State Technical University to brief Ono-san (see the itinerary). Each institution discussed the progress of PEN-Russia at their institution and also discussed the outcomes of their association with PEN-Russia and PEN-International. Video conferences were held with each PEN-Russia so that Ono-san had an opportunity to virtually visit each PEN-Russia site. In addition, Ono-san had the opportunity to interact with students in person and virtually.
Ono-san expressed pleasure that the progress of PEN-Russia is exactly what The Nippon Foundation hopes for all the programs it funds.
