On 19 February, Director James J. DeCaro of PEN-International had a virtual meeting, through videoconferencing technology, with Rector Fedorov and Professor Stanevsky of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Minister A. Fursenko, Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (meet Dr. Fursenko). DeCaro spoke about PEN-International and PEN-Russia. Bauman is currently working with the Ministry to discuss support for the education of people who are deaf in Russia.
